William Billow of Herndon assisted his brother, Jacob Billow to harvest last week.
Mrs. I.O. Deckard spent last week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Billow.
S.W. Billow and family, Jen Myers, George Myers, Lillie and Lennie Shaffer, Lester Hummel, Albert, Luther and Erma Miller mowed the Buck’s Church cemetery Friday afternoon. There was nothing done on the outside of the fence or in the part that was not sown in grass. We hope some of the men will come out and put these parts in good condition. The committee appointed to secure subscription for a permanent fund, the interest to be used to keep the cemetery clean and fenced are ready to receive your subscriptions. If we don’t get to see you send yours to either Mrs. Katie Shaffer, Miss Margaret Deckard or Jen Myers. You have until April 1, to pay it.
